CatRangers
Rescuing the Forgotten, Placing with Love
At CatRangers, we believe every cat deserves a second chance at a life filled with safety, compassion, and a forever home. We are dedicated to saving cats in critical need, helping them heal and thrive until they find their perfect match.
Our History and Mission
Founded in 2005, CatRangers began with a mission to save a feral cat colony at Lake Lanier, Georgia. Since then, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit has rescued over 9,000 cats and kittens, focusing on those facing urgent, life-threatening situations.
A Different Kind of Rescue
We pride ourselves on being the Special Forces of cat rescue. Our cats live in a cage-free, stress-free adoption center in Buford, Georgia, or in loving foster homes, providing a calm environment for them to show their true personalities. This home-like setting allows us to provide the personalized care and socialization every rescue cat needs to transition to a new family.
Your Partner in Adoption
We look beyond the paperwork to ensure a lifetime of happiness for both you and your new companion. Through our thoughtful, guided adoption process—including pre-adoption applications and home reviews—we work to create a perfect, lasting fit for every family. With our return for life promise, we ensure that every cat adopted through our organization is supported forever.
