Paw Angel's Inc.
Saving Dogs, Changing Lives
Paw Angel's Dog Rescue is a dedicated, volunteer-run non-profit organization serving Calhoun, Georgia, and the surrounding counties. We are on a mission to bring dogs in our community a better quality of life by providing rescue, resources, and education.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2018 when our founder, Hollie Stewart, rescued a young pit bull named Lucy and realized she had to be part of the solution for abandoned dogs. Since then, we have grown into a passionate team committed to saving lives, regardless of a dog's breed, physical appearance, or health status.
A Foster-Based Family
We are a foster-based rescue, which means our dogs live in loving homes until they find their perfect forever match. This environment allows our volunteers to provide personalized care, affection, and essential socialization while preparing every dog for their new life. Because we do not have an onsite facility, our foster families serve as the heart of our operations.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe adoption should be a joyful, lifelong partnership, and we prioritize finding the perfect match for both the animal and the family. Our transparent process includes an application, an interview, a home visit, and a two-week trial period to ensure everyone is set up for long-term success. Every dog in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
