We exist to speak for the animals who cannot speak for themselves. Our daily mission is to save lives and protect companion animals from neglect, abuse, and starvation.
Chartered in 2014, our organization is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the animals of our community. Our shelter stands today as a living memorial to Kerry Hall, a local advocate whose family donated her property in 2021 to provide a permanent home for the creatures she loved so dearly.
Located on the former Hall property, our shelter is designed as a sanctuary with space to house over 100 companion animals. We take pride in maintaining a facility that offers room to grow, ensuring every dog and cat in our care has a safe, comfortable environment while they wait for their forever families.
We believe that every animal deserves a loving, permanent home. By adopting through us, you are becoming a vital part of a caring community effort to reduce the surplus population of companion animals in the Polk County area.
We are always looking for compassionate individuals ready to open their hearts and homes to a rescue animal. Please explore our website to view our current adoptable dogs and cats, or reach out to us using our online adoption form to begin the rewarding process of meeting your new companion.
