The Humane Society of Houston County is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving the citizens and animals of Houston County, Georgia. We work tirelessly to save homeless animals and provide them with the second chance they deserve.
Proudly serving the Middle Georgia area including Warner Robins, Perry, Centerville, Bonaire, and Kathleen, we strive to reduce the number of homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. We rely entirely on the kindness of our community through private donations, adoption fees, and the dedication of our all-volunteer team.
As a completely volunteer-run organization, our facility is the heart of our mission where we care for our animals every day of the year. We are not a branch of any national organization and receive no city, county, or federal funding; every cent we raise goes directly toward the medical care, nutrition, and comfort of the animals awaiting their forever families.
Our goal is to help you find the perfect companion through a thoughtful, professional, and personal adoption process. We love matching our rescued friends with families who will appreciate their unique personalities, ensuring a smooth and joyful transition for everyone involved.
You can make a real difference in the lives of Middle Georgia animals by choosing to adopt rather than buy. We invite you to browse our current residents, consider becoming a volunteer, or support our ongoing efforts through donations or by sharing our mission with others. Please reach out via email to start your journey toward meeting your new best friend.
