Newton County Animal Control
Connecting Hearts and Homes
At Newton County Animal Services, our mission is to provide care for animals in need while working tirelessly to find every adoptable pet a permanent, responsible, and loving home. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at happiness.
Serving Our Community
Located in Covington, we serve as a vital resource for our community by providing shelter, field services, and protective care for domestic animals and livestock. We are dedicated to maintaining public safety and promoting responsible pet ownership throughout Newton County.
Our Care Philosophy
Our shelter operates as a dedicated hub for animal welfare, offering a range of essential services including medical care, spay/neuter surgeries in our in-house suite, microchipping, and vaccinations. Our professional staff and field officers work hard to ensure that every animal under our care receives the medical attention and support they need while they await their forever families.
