K9 Battle Buddies
Our Mission
K9 Battle Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives by training rescued dogs as service companions for combat veterans and first responders. By pairing heroic veterans with rescue dogs, we ensure that two lives are saved and transformed through the power of companionship.
Our Story
Founded by a combat veteran who personally understands the challenges of PTSD, our organization is built on the belief that we are stronger together. Our board members share a deep, personal commitment to supporting those who have served our country and their families. It is our honor to provide these life-changing service dogs to veterans at no cost.
Our Approach
We believe in a hands-on, collaborative training model. Veterans are actively involved in training their own dogs, from basic obedience to specialized tasks, which builds a profound, lasting bond between them. Every dog in our program is carefully vetted and receives necessary medical care as they prepare for their new life of service.
Finding Your Perfect Match
While our focus is on service dogs, we also have many wonderful dogs and cats available for public adoption. We are committed to finding the perfect fit for every family, ensuring a successful transition for both the pet and their new home. Our team is here to support you throughout the process of welcoming a new, loyal companion into your life.
