Our mission is simple yet vital: we are dedicated to making animal care accessible to every member of our community. Through our diverse programs, we strive to ensure that all pets receive the healthcare and loving placement they deserve.
Paw Project of Georgia was established by seven passionate, like-minded women who bring over 110 years of collective experience in animal rescue and veterinary medicine to our work. We exist to bridge the gap for low-income families by providing high-quality, low-cost veterinary services that keep pets healthy and in their homes, while simultaneously providing a safe haven for animals transitioning from abuse, neglect, or shelter environments.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we operate as both a wellness center and a rescue organization. Our rescued dogs and cats are cared for in a network of foster homes until they are ready to meet their forever families, ensuring they receive the socialization and comfort they need to thrive. By combining professional veterinary care with a dedicated foster network, we are able to offer each animal the personalized attention required to prepare them for a new chapter in life.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you make a match that lasts a lifetime. We are committed to transparency in our process and work tirelessly to ensure that every animal in our care is fully vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped before heading home. When you adopt from us, you aren't just gaining a pet; you are becoming part of a community that values compassion and second chances.
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer, or support our efforts through a donation, there are many ways to get involved. We invite you to explore our available pets on Petfinder or visit our website to learn more about our upcoming events and how you can help us continue our work.
