Lee County Animal Shelter

Welcome to the Lee County Animal Shelter, where our mission focuses on compassion, care, and commitment to finding loving homes for animals in need. Located in Leesburg, Georgia, our shelter is dedicated to providing a safe haven for stray and surrendered pets while striving to minimize their time in our care. At the Lee County Animal Shelter, we believe that every animal deserves a second chance. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to offer essential services such as accepting stray pets from the community, as well as providing help for those in need to surrender their animals. Our focus remains on matching these wonderful companions with responsible adopters who can provide them with a forever home. We actively collaborate with various rescue organizations to facilitate the adoption of our animals, further promoting their well-being and happiness. Our community is encouraged to get involved through adoption and volunteering, helping us ensure that our furry friends find kind families who will cherish them. Our reasonable adoption fees ($80 for cats/ kittens, $100 for dogs/ puppies) include essential services such as spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping, ensuring that each pet is healthy and ready for their new adventure. We invite you to visit our website or follow us on Facebook to stay updated on our available pets and learn more about our monthly weekend adoption events. From our team of passionate staff and volunteers to our community-oriented practices, we aim to make the Lee County Animal Shelter a welcoming place for both humans and animals alike. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of pets and create a more compassionate community.
