Our Mission

Street Paws, Inc. is dedicated to healing hearts—both animal and human—through love, rescue, and compassion. We work daily to improve the lives of animals living on the streets of Georgia by providing hope and a second chance for every creature in need.

Our Journey

Incorporated in 2012 and established in 2013, Street Paws was founded as a 501(c)(3) organization with a vision to proactively address the stray companion animal problem. We are a licensed Georgia organization committed to preventing animal cruelty and relieving suffering through community outreach, humane education, and dedicated rescue efforts.

How We Help

Our rescue takes a progressive approach to animal welfare, operating through a blend of a dedicated foster network and our new shelter facility in Locust Grove. Most of our rescued animals thrive in loving foster homes, where they receive structure and care, while our onsite shelter allows us to perform meet-and-greets and provide a safe haven for cats. We are also deeply involved in spay/neuter initiatives, community education, and managing feral cat colonies to ensure long-term animal welfare.
