Macon Bibb County Animal Welfare is dedicated to providing compassionate care for animals in need while working tirelessly to find them loving, permanent homes. We strive to create a community where every pet is valued and every lost animal has the best chance of reuniting with their family.
Our organization exists to support the homeless, stray, and abandoned animals of our community, as well as sick or injured wildlife. By promoting spay and neuter services, we actively work to end the suffering caused by overpopulation and ensure a brighter future for all animals in Bibb County.
We are a dedicated facility that provides a safe haven for animals until they find their forever families. We rely on a collaborative approach that utilizes a network of adopters, fosters, rescue partners, and wildlife facilities to give every animal the individualized attention they deserve.
We believe that adoption is a joyful partnership, and our team is committed to helping you pick out the perfect animal for your family. Once your application is reviewed and approved, our staff will guide you through the process to ensure a smooth transition for both you and your new pet. Each adoption includes spaying or neutering, rabies vaccinations, and the first set of standard vaccinations to give your pet a healthy start.
Are you ready to find your new best friend? We invite you to view our currently available animals online or visit our adoption center at 4214 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA. You can also get involved by filling out a volunteer application to help us in our mission to serve the animals of our community.
