Cobb County Animal Services
Our Mission
Cobb County Animal Services is dedicated to providing compassionate care for homeless animals while fostering a thriving community where every pet finds the love and security they deserve.
Our History and Community
Established in 1971, we are proud to serve the entire county as part of the Department of Public Safety. Our work goes beyond shelter walls, as we strive to protect both the residents and the animals of Cobb County through education, responsible enforcement, and lifesaving programs.
Our Care Model
We operate a professional shelter facility in Marietta designed to provide for the Five Domains of animal welfare: nutrition, environment, health, behavior, and mental well-being. Our dedicated team of animal care specialists, veterinary staff, and administrative professionals works around the clock to maintain a clean, safe environment for every animal in our care.
The Adopter Connection
We believe that every adoption is a joyful new beginning, and we are committed to finding the perfect match for both you and your future family member. Our bonding rooms offer a comfortable, quiet space for you to meet and connect with a shelter pet to ensure the relationship is a wonderful fit for your lifestyle.
Find Your New Best Friend
We invite you to visit us at 1060 Al Bishop Drive to meet our adoptable cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens. Whether you are ready to adopt, interested in fostering, or simply want to learn more about responsible pet ownership, we look forward to helping you make a difference in an animal's life.
