Pet Adoption League of Gem County
Our Mission
The Pet Adoption League (PAL) is dedicated to reuniting lost cats and dogs with their owners and finding loving, permanent homes for those without a family. We promote the compassionate treatment of animals in Gem County and beyond, ensuring every pet receives the care they deserve.
Why We Are Here
We serve as a vital resource for our community by providing a safe harbor for displaced animals and support for local pet owners. Whether through our pet food pantry or our feral cat spay/neuter program, our goal is to keep pets healthy and with their families whenever possible.
How We Operate
PAL is almost entirely managed by a dedicated team of volunteers who provide essential daily care and companionship to our shelter residents. Our facility in Emmett offers a clean, comfortable environment where animals wait to meet their new families, supported by a network of volunteers who maintain our operations and ensure our animals are happy and loved.
Building Lifelong Connections
We take pride in our thoughtful matching process, because we want every adoption to be a perfect fit for both the pet and your lifestyle. By getting to know each animal's unique personality, we help create joyful, long-lasting partnerships that bring happiness to homes throughout the region.
