Our Mission
CATsNAP is dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and improving the welfare of animals in the greater Champaign County, Illinois area. We strive to provide every cat with the quality care and love they deserve as they wait to find their perfect forever home.
Our Story
Established in 2005, our non-profit organization was founded on the belief that all animals deserve a fresh start. We advocate strongly for spaying and neutering to ensure fewer animals are born into situations of neglect or lack of care, and to help limit the number of animals relinquished to shelters.
How We Operate
We are a community-focused, volunteer-based organization. Our cats are cared for in a combination of dedicated foster homes and our central facility in Champaign, which allows us to provide accurate insights into each cat's unique personality and behavior. Every animal in our care receives comprehensive veterinary attention, including spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and microchipping, before they ever meet their new family.
