On Angels' Wings is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dedicated to rescuing, providing veterinary care for, and finding forever homes for abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in Northern Illinois and beyond. We believe in the power of second chances, helping more than 350 pets each year find the loving families they deserve.
Our Mission and Community
Founded by Jeannette Hager and her daughter Emily, our organization was built on the belief that the bond between human and animal is a mutually beneficial relationship that improves life for both. To support our life-saving mission, we operate an upscale resale store in Crystal Lake that funds our rescue efforts while serving our local community. We are also committed to humane education, working within local schools to inspire future generations to embrace animal welfare.

Our rescues thrive in a high-quality, supportive environment featuring comfortable beds, enrichment, socialization, and professional veterinary care. Beyond our facility, we utilize an extensive foster program to ensure each animal receives the individualized attention and home-setting comfort they need while awaiting their forever match.
