Purrfect Cat Rescue
Our Mission
Purrfect Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to a simple, life-changing mission: to rescue, shelter, and re-home cats in need. We are committed to placing every feline friend into a loving forever home where they can thrive.
Our Story
Founded by passionate animal lovers, our journey began with the rescue of 42 cats from a hoarding situation. This experience served as our inspiration to establish a dedicated 501(c)3 organization focused on providing a brighter future for cats in McHenry County, Illinois.
How We Care
We are a 100% volunteer-run rescue operating a no-kill, cage-free shelter environment. By utilizing a robust foster network alongside our physical shelter in Crystal Lake, we ensure our cats receive the medical care, socialization, and love they need while waiting for their permanent families.
The Adopter Connection
We believe that every adoption is the start of a beautiful, joyful partnership. Our team is dedicated to matching cats with the right families to ensure a lifelong bond, and we are always here to provide guidance throughout your adoption journey.
