Foster Pet Outreach is dedicated to helping at-risk animals by providing compassionate care for dogs and cats. Through our all-volunteer network, we strive to transform lives and ensure every animal finds a safe and loving forever home.
Founded in 1995 by three coworkers who first joined forces to help a stray cat, we have grown into a committed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We recognize the vital need to support abandoned and abused animals in our community, successfully placing over 300 pets into loving homes each year.
We believe in the power of a home environment. While we maintain an office in Edwards, we do not house animals there; instead, all our rescues live in volunteer foster homes where they receive personalized attention, socialization, and basic training. This unique approach allows us to better understand each animal's personality and individual needs.
Adoption is a joyful journey, and our goal is to ensure the absolute best fit for both you and your new companion. Because our foster parents know our animals so well, they provide essential support in helping you find the right match. We are deeply committed to ensuring every animal is spayed or neutered prior to adoption, setting them up for a lifetime of health and happiness.
Are you ready to welcome a new furry friend into your family? We invite you to browse our available pets to see who might be waiting for you. If you would like to help us continue our life-saving work, you can also join our team as a volunteer or foster parent, or support us through a donation that stays entirely local.
