Effingham County Animal Control
Our Mission
Effingham County Animal Control is dedicated to finding loving homes for pets and reuniting lost animals with their families. We strive to build a safer, more compassionate community, one paw at a time.
Our Commitment to Care
Our work is rooted in kindness, responsibility, and deep respect for every life that comes through our doors. We believe that behind every rescue, reunion, and adoption is a dedicated team working with determination to ensure the well-being of both our animals and the public.
How We Help
Our small but mighty team provides daily care for frightened strays while ensuring public safety throughout the county. We actively support animal welfare through rescue operations and by facilitating a network for fostering, which gives animals a critical, supportive environment to heal and grow before finding their forever homes.
The Joy of Adoption
Choosing to adopt means opening your heart and home to an animal in need, creating a lifelong partnership. We are here to support you in finding your new best friend, ensuring that every pet finds the perfect match to thrive in their new environment.
