Hinsdale Humane Society is dedicated to transforming the lives of animals and the people who care for them. We strive to create a world where every animal experiences compassion and respect, free from suffering and neglect.
Our story began in 1953 when six dedicated women came together to improve the conditions for local animals. Since those early days, we have remained committed to our founders' vision of providing a safe, sanitary, and compassionate environment for pets in need.
Today, we operate from the state-of-the-art Tuthill Family Pet Rescue & Resource Center. This facility serves as a hub for our comprehensive care services, including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and specialized medical support for animals with unique needs.
Adopting is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find your next best friend. We believe in building strong human-animal bonds and provide support through every step of the process, from initial meetings to ongoing resources. Whether you are looking for a dog, cat, or critter, our team is ready to guide you toward a successful, lifelong match.
We invite you to experience the impact of our work firsthand. Explore our available animals, learn more about our foster and volunteer programs, or visit us at our Hinsdale location to meet your new companion today. Together, we can champion the compassionate treatment of every animal in our care and beyond.
