Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team
Our Mission
At the Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team (HART), we believe that every pet matters. We are an all-volunteer, no-kill organization dedicated to providing a safe, loving environment for animals who have been lost, unwanted, abused, or are in need of medical care.
Our History and Community Impact
Since opening our doors as a dedicated shelter and rescue team in 2013, HART has worked to make significant strides in animal welfare. We are proud to have helped thousands of stray and owned animals find the medical care, housing, and permanent, loving homes they deserve.
How We Care
As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on the generosity of our community and our passionate volunteers to continue our mission. We provide comprehensive, medically necessary care for our animals, ensuring they enjoy a high quality of life while they wait for their forever families. We are constantly growing to better serve the needs of our community and the animals who rely on us.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that adoption is a lifelong commitment, which is why we focus on the quality of our adoptions rather than quantity. By utilizing a thoughtful, pre-approved application process, we work hard to ensure the best possible match for both the animal and your family. Our team is here to guide you through this process with care, patience, and transparency.
