Joliet Township Animal Control
Our Mission
Joliet Township Animal Control is dedicated to promoting and protecting public safety through compassionate animal care, quality sheltering, and successful pet placement programs. Every year, we welcome hundreds of animals into our care with the primary goal of finding each one a loving forever home.
Serving Our Community
As a vital resource in our township, we provide a safe haven for stray animals while serving the public through education and professional support. Our facility, located on McDonough Street, stands as a community hub where our dedicated team of vet techs, animal care specialists, and officers work tirelessly to ensure the welfare of every animal that enters our doors.
Our Care Model
Our shelter operates as a professional facility where our staff and volunteers provide daily care, feeding, and much-needed socialization for our animals. Beyond essential care, our team members offer love and attention, ensuring that our residents remain happy and healthy while they wait for their new families. We are proud to maintain a clean, active environment where pets can thrive.
The Perfect Match
We believe that a successful adoption begins with a thoughtful connection. Our skilled vet techs meet with every potential adopter to discuss your lifestyle, adoption plans, and unique needs, ensuring that you find the right match for your household. This careful, personal process helps us create lasting, joyful partnerships between our animals and their new owners.
