PET PROJECT INC.
Our Mission
Pet Project Inc. is dedicated to the humane treatment of animals, working tirelessly to provide compassionate care and secure permanent, loving homes for our residents.
Our History and Community
As the oldest non-profit animal shelter in LaSalle County, we have proudly served our community since our incorporation in October of 1993. Over the last 30 years, we have helped over 6,000 homeless and abandoned animals find the second chances they deserve.
How We Operate
We are a dedicated no-kill shelter based in Marseilles, Illinois, operating as a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Our facility is run entirely by a passionate team of volunteers, meaning every form, inquiry, and photo is managed by someone who truly cares about our mission. We rely on the generous support of our community to maintain our shelter and ensure every animal receives the care they need while waiting for their forever family.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we believe in making thoughtful matches that last a lifetime. Whether you are looking for a playful pup like Luna or a spunky companion like Jemma, our volunteers are here to help you navigate the process. Every adoption includes spay/neuter services, essential vaccinations, and a microchip to ensure your new best friend gets off to a healthy, happy start.
