Animal Aid Humane Society
Our Mission
Animal Aid Humane Society is a dedicated, all-volunteer nonprofit organization transforming the lives of homeless pets, primarily cats and dogs, by providing comprehensive care and support. We are a no-kill animal shelter committed to providing a safe haven where every animal receives the nourishment, medical attention, training, and love they need to thrive.
Serving Our Community
We serve the Iowa and Illinois Quad Cities and surrounding areas as a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation. Operated entirely by volunteers with no paid staff, we rely on the generous support of our community to continue our vital work. We receive no government assistance, meaning every donation goes directly toward the benefit of our animals.
How We Care
Our shelter acts as a dedicated space where animals are supported until they find their perfect match. From daily maintenance and utilities to essential medical costs and training, your support ensures our residents are happy and healthy while they wait for their forever families. We are currently working toward building a new shelter to expand our capacity to help even more animals in need.
Find Your Lifetime Friend
Adoption is a life-changing journey, and we are honored to help you find a companion for a lifetime. Whether you are looking to offer a forever home or simply want to support our mission, we invite you to be part of our compassionate community of animal lovers.
Get Involved
We welcome you to visit us in Moline to meet our wonderful animals. We are open from 10 am to 1 pm, Monday through Saturday, and are also available by appointment. Please visit our website to submit a pre-adoption form or learn how you can volunteer to help us turn our new shelter vision into a reality.
