Wabash County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
Wabash County Animal Shelter Buddies is dedicated to providing compassionate care and finding loving forever homes for the animals in our community. We believe every pet deserves a second chance at a happy, healthy life.
Who We Are
Based in Mount Carmel, Illinois, we serve as the local county shelter, operating through the hard work and dedication of our team of volunteers. Our organization is built on a foundation of community support, and we are proud to be a trusted resource for animal welfare in the Wabash County area.
How We Operate
Our shelter functions as a volunteer-run facility focused on the daily well-being and enrichment of our animals. By maintaining a welcoming environment at our facility on N 1550 Blvd, we ensure that each resident receives the attention and care they need while they wait to meet their perfect match. We are committed to transparency and providing helpful information to pet owners and prospective adopters throughout the region.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find a pet that fits your lifestyle and personality. We take great pride in our high recommendation rate from our community, reflecting the care we put into every connection we make. Whether you are looking for a loyal dog or a charming cat, our team is excited to help you start your journey as a new pet owner.
