Wish Bone Canine Rescue
Our Mission
At Wish Bone Canine Rescue, we are dedicated to a simple, life-affirming mission: ensuring that all healthy and treatable homeless animals have the right to live. We operate on the foundational belief that every dog deserves a safe, loving future, and we work tirelessly to make that reality possible for those in our care.
Our Commitment to Compassion
Our organization is proudly built upon Nathan Winograd's No Kill Philosophy. By prioritizing this approach, we advocate for the well-being and dignity of every animal we rescue. We believe that by creating a supportive environment for both our animals and our community, we can foster lasting connections that change lives for the better.
How We Operate
Our life-saving work is made possible by a robust network of dedicated volunteers and foster families. Foster families provide a vital, temporary bridge for our dogs, welcoming them into their homes until a perfect forever family is found, which allows us to expand our umbrella of care. Meanwhile, our volunteers support these efforts by assisting with daily operations, facility upkeep, and community events.
Your Role in Our Family
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we take pride in matching our wonderful dogs with families that will cherish them. Whether you are looking to adopt, foster, or volunteer, you become an essential part of our mission to provide second chances. We are committed to transparency and support throughout your entire journey with us.
