Happy Tails Animal Shelter
Our Mission
Happy Tails Humane Society is dedicated to helping sick, injured, abandoned, and unwanted animals by seeking suitable homes and reuniting lost pets with their families. We are guided by a humane ethic to build a community that universally values animals, understands their needs, and takes action to meet them.
Our Commitment to Care
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we operate a limited intake, no-kill facility in Rock Falls, Illinois. Our goal is to provide quality temporary care for homeless animals in a safe environment until they are ready to transition into permanent, loving homes.
How We Operate
We believe in the importance of responsible guardianship and community education. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to managing our resources to achieve the greatest good, ensuring that every animal in our care receives the medical attention and shelter support they deserve during their stay with us.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Our office staff act as matchmakers to help you find the right companion for your lifestyle. By completing our adoption application, you help us understand your needs, allowing us to facilitate successful, long-term partnerships between people and pets. We value transparency and treat all our prospective adopters with dignity and respect as we work together to improve animal welfare.
