Hendricks County Animal Control Shelter
Our Mission
At Hendricks County Animal Shelter, we believe there is a furry soulmate for every soul. We are a dedicated community resource committed to promoting animal welfare and helping pets find their furever families.
Why We Are Here
We provide a safe, temporary home for pets in need while working in partnership with our community to address pet overpopulation. Our team is focused on implementing forward-thinking programs designed to decrease the euthanasia rate and ensure every animal in our care has a path to a bright future.
How We Operate
Our facility is a clean, modern space located in Danville, Indiana, where our knowledgeable and friendly staff provide compassionate care to the animals. In addition to our shelter operations, we are proud to be rescue friendly and work closely with rescue groups who foster for our animals. By combining a professional shelter environment with active rescue partnerships, we maximize our ability to save lives.
