A Dedicated Haven in Elwood
The Elwood Animal Shelter is the official municipal animal care facility for the City of Elwood, Indiana. We are committed to providing a safe, temporary sanctuary for animals in need while working tirelessly to connect them with their forever families.
Our Commitment to Care
Owned and operated by the City of Elwood, our shelter serves as a vital community resource. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy life, and our dedicated team works daily to ensure that every pet in our facility receives the care, attention, and medical oversight they need to thrive while awaiting adoption.
How We Operate
Located at 511 North 14th Street, our facility is designed to support the welfare of our animals through professional oversight and community engagement. By operating under the City of Elwood, we maintain a transparent and reliable environment where animal welfare remains a top priority for our entire region.
