The Humane Society of Clinton County is dedicated to the humane treatment of animals through compassionate care, community education, and the promotion of responsible guardianship. We strive to provide a safe haven for homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals while working to find them the loving homes they deserve.
Established in 1981, our organization has long served the Clinton County, Indiana, community by advocating for the well-being of domestic animals. Our work is rooted in a commitment to preventing cruelty, controlling surplus pet populations through spay and neuter campaigns, and reuniting lost pets with their families.
We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive care for every animal in our protection. Prior to adoption, each pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for specific health conditions, with additional bloodwork provided for seniors. We utilize a foster-to-adopt program to ensure that every pet receives the time they need to adjust comfortably to their new environment while completing any final medical requirements.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect companion to enrich your life. By focusing on each animal's individual medical and behavioral needs, we ensure that both you and your new pet are set up for a successful, long-term bond. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance at happiness in a stable, caring home.
Are you ready to meet your new best friend? We invite you to view our adoptable animals online or visit us in person during our business hours to see who is waiting for you.
