Catsnip Etc. is dedicated to humanely addressing cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), community-focused adoptions, and specialized barn relocation programs. We believe in championing free-roaming community cats and kittens, one life at a time.
Since our founding in 2014, we have helped over 12,000 cats in Elkhart County, Indiana. We understand how important a free-roaming cat colony is to our local environment, and we are committed to improving the quality of life for these animals through community awareness, education, and active participation.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization 100% supported by volunteers, grants, and donations. Our trained volunteers utilize humane trapping methods to sterilize, vaccinate, and provide care for community cats, ensuring they are treated with the respect they deserve. By stabilizing colonies, we prevent new litters and help existing cat populations live healthier, longer lives.
We are thrilled to help you find the perfect feline companion to join your family. Our adoptable cats and kittens are rescued from the outdoors, fully vetted, and receive spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping before joining your home. For those looking for barn companions, our Rodent Responder program offers a wonderful solution for cats who thrive in outdoor settings.
