Blackford County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
At the Blackford County Animal Shelter, our mission is simple but profound: we are here for animals until they all have homes. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for animals in need throughout Blackford County, Indiana.
Who We Are
We believe that every animal deserves a second chance and a loving family to call their own. Our shelter serves as a safe haven where we work tirelessly to ensure each resident is cared for, respected, and prepared for their next great chapter in life.
Our Approach to Care
We operate a shelter facility where our dedicated team provides ongoing support for animals while they wait for their perfect match. We take great pride in being a voice for our long-stay residents, celebrating the incredible resilience of animals who maintain their loving, snuggly spirits throughout their time with us.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to making it a successful experience for both you and your new pet. Our adoption process is designed with care, requiring an approved application and an appointment so we can help you find the companion that best fits your lifestyle. When a long-stay pet finds their forever home, it is a truly glorious moment for our entire community.
