The Humane Society of Noble County is dedicated to providing a safe haven for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals until they find their perfect forever homes. We are proud to be a no-kill facility, ensuring that no animal is ever euthanized simply due to a lack of space.
Located in northeast Indiana, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving all of Noble County. By addressing pet over-population through education, spay and neuter services, and community-focused programs, we strive to create a better future for the pets and people of our region.
We rely on the generous support of our community, volunteers, and donors to provide food, shelter, and medical care for our animals. Our shelter serves as a central hub for homeless pets, and we also utilize a dedicated foster program to provide special care for seniors, nursing mothers, and animals undergoing treatments like heartworm recovery. Every animal we adopt out is spayed or neutered before heading to their new home.
We believe in thoughtful, successful adoptions that turn shelter pets into beloved family members. Our team facilitates a meet and greet process for all family members, both two and four-legged, to ensure a harmonious match for your household. You may even choose a trial adoption period to help you and your new pet settle in together comfortably.
We invite you to be a part of our journey by visiting our shelter in Kendallville to meet our adoptable pets. Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer your time, or support us through a cage sponsorship, there are many ways to help. Follow us on Facebook for the latest updates or visit our website to see all of our current residents waiting to meet you!
