Happy Tails Animal Care Center
Our Mission
At Happy Tails Animal Care Center, our mission is simple: we are dedicated to saving as many wonderful lives as possible by matching homeless animals with loving, caring families. Every pet in our care deserves a second chance at a happy life in a forever home.
Why We Are Here
Located in White County, Indiana, our shelter exists to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. We believe animals bring immense joy, serving as loving companions for the elderly and helping children learn the value of kindness and responsibility. Providing these pets with a fresh start is our greatest honor.
How We Care for Our Animals
We work in partnership with city and county animal control to take in stray animals, ensuring they receive necessary veterinary care before they become available for adoption. Our facility is a place where animals are treated with patience and love, often spending their time being petted, talked to, and enjoying playful moments. Because our animals are often social and easy-going, they are ready to become cherished members of your family.
The Joy of Adoption
Adopting a pet is a life-changing experience that creates a deep, lasting bond. We take care to ensure every match is thoughtful and successful by requiring a meet-and-greet for families who already have a dog. Whether you are looking for a playful kitten or a seasoned senior companion, we are here to guide you through our simple application and adoption process.
