Ripley County Humane Society

Providing Second Chances

Ripley County Humane Society is a dedicated, private, non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill organization committed to giving stray, abused, injured, and unwanted animals a fresh start. We believe every dog and cat deserves a clean, safe, and nurturing environment while they wait for their permanent home.

Our Compassionate Mission

Founded on the principle of community compassion, we rely on the support of neighbors like you to keep our doors open. Our shelter serves as a vital resource for our community, offering care not only for strays but also providing essential services for those facing difficult life transitions, including domestic violence survivors and hospice patients.

Care and Quality

We are a team united by heart, ensuring that every animal receives high-quality attention, medical care, and love. Our staff and volunteers treat every dog and cat as an individual, providing the patience and care they need to thrive. Whether it is through spay/neuter services, vaccinations, or simply a gentle touch, we ensure each pet feels safe and valued every day.

Finding Your Perfect Match

Adoption is the beginning of a beautiful partnership, and we are here to help you find the right companion for your family. We take the time to share everything we know about a pet’s history and personality, ensuring a match that brings unconditional love into your life. We even encourage meet-and-greets to make sure our furry friends feel right at home with you.

Join Our Pack

Your kindness is their second chance, and we would love to have you by our side. Whether you are ready to adopt, interested in fostering, or looking to volunteer, there are so many ways to make a meaningful difference. Come visit us in Osgood any day between 12pm and 4pm to meet our wonderful animals and see who is waiting for you.
