Orange County Humane Society - IN
Our Mission
The Orange County Humane Society is dedicated to providing compassionate care for animals in need and connecting them with loving, forever families. We believe every pet deserves a safe environment where they can thrive while awaiting their new beginning.
Serving Our Community
Located in Paoli, Indiana, our facility serves as a vital resource for our local animals and the people who care for them. We are committed to improving the lives of our rescues through dedicated care, medical support, and the hard work of our compassionate team and volunteers.
How We Operate
Our work is made possible by the generosity of our supporters and the hands-on efforts of our volunteers. We maintain a clean, caring facility at 856 N Greenbriar Drive and rely on community contributions—such as cat litter, food, and cleaning supplies—to maintain the best possible conditions for our animals.
Finding Your Forever Companion
Adopting a pet is a beautiful, life-changing journey that brings joy to both the animal and the adopter. We take great care in our adoption process, ensuring that each potential home is a perfect match for our adoptable cats and dogs. Once you submit an application, a member of our team will personally contact you to discuss the next steps in welcoming your new friend home.
Get Involved
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer your time, or contribute through our partnership programs like BISSELL or Amazon, there are many ways to support our mission. We invite you to browse our current adoptable pets online or visit us during our operating hours to learn more about how you can make a difference in the life of a rescue animal.
