Fulton County Animal Center
Our Mission
The Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center exists to educate, inspire, and empower responsible pet ownership while providing a safe, compassionate second chance to animals in need. We are dedicated to keeping pets happy, healthy, and home.
Who We Are
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are proud to be the only animal shelter serving Fulton County, Indiana. We take in lost, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats, ensuring they receive the medical attention and compassionate care they deserve while they await their forever families.
Our Commitment to Care
We are a no-kill facility that prides itself on maintaining exceptional save rates, reflecting our deep dedication to every animal that walks through our doors. Beyond adoptions, we actively support our community through low-cost vaccine and spay/neuter clinics, helping to ensure that quality care remains accessible to all local residents.
The Adoption Experience
We believe that adoption changes two lives: the pet who finds a new home and the animal who takes their place in our care. Our team works hard to make thoughtful, successful matches, providing ongoing resources and support to help you and your new companion thrive together from day one.
Find Your New Best Friend
Ready to meet your next family member? We invite you to browse our current list of adoptable dogs and cats online or visit us at our shelter in Rochester to start your journey. We look forward to helping you find the perfect companion to complete your home!
