Kossuth County Tails of Hope Rescue
Our Mission
Kossuth County Tails of Hope Rescue is dedicated to providing compassionate care for animals in need and helping them find loving, permanent homes. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
Our Journey
Since 1997, our organization has evolved from a small group of dedicated volunteers into a cornerstone of animal welfare in Kossuth County. Throughout the years, we have grown through community collaboration, united efforts, and a deep, shared passion for animal advocacy.
How We Care
Our rescue operates as a dedicated haven for animals awaiting their forever homes, supported by a 100% volunteer-run team. We manage a facility in Algona, while also relying on foster placements and a network of compassionate supporters to provide medical treatment, grooming, and the love every animal deserves. Each resident is fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered to ensure they are healthy and ready for a fresh start.
The Perfect Match
Every animal in our care possesses a unique, distinct personality, and our goal is to find the perfect fit for both the pet and your family. We are here to guide you through the process, ensuring that your new companion is ready to be a joyful part of your life for years to come. When you adopt, you are not just getting a pet; you are gaining a new best friend.
