For over a century, we have served as a cornerstone of our community, making it a better place for both people and pets. While our mission has evolved to meet changing needs, we remain unwavering advocates for those who cannot help themselves, regardless of age, health, breed, or behavior.
Our Lifesaving Care Model
As a private, 501c3 non-profit organization, we provide a safe haven for animals while they wait for their forever homes. Beyond traditional sheltering, we rely on a dedicated network of foster homes for neonates, behavioral rehabilitation, recovery, and hospice care. We also support the community through low-cost vaccine and microchip clinics, a free pet food pantry, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives to help keep pets with the people who love them.

We encourage family members to meet our adoptable pets in person, including a required meet and greet for current dogs, to ensure a happy transition for everyone involved. Our counselors are here to answer your questions and provide support long after you take your new friend home through our post-adoption resource series.
