Our Story

Since beginning operations in Decorah in 1995, we have remained dedicated to serving the five-county area of Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek. As a private, independent nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our volunteer board to carry out our vital work.

Our team at the Love & Friendship Adoption Center provides a stable, compassionate environment while animals wait to meet their new families.
