Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation is a dedicated no-kill shelter with a mission to rescue, protect, and find loving homes for stray and neglected dogs and cats. We believe every animal’s life is special and deserves both kindness and high-quality care.
Our Story
Since our founding in 1986, we have provided a safe haven for animals in need. Over the decades, we have evolved from a small initiative into a professional, non-profit organization that actively combats pet overpopulation through our comprehensive CCSNAP spay and neuter assistance programs.
Our Care
In 2004, we completed our state-of-the-art, eco-friendly Catherine V. Glann Building in Fairfield, Iowa, which was designed specifically for the health and comfort of our residents. Our facility features advanced heating and ventilation, indoor dog kennels, and a low-stress environment that allows our animals to thrive while they wait for their forever families.
