Our Mission
Fur Fun Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting dogs in need with loving foster families and carefully chosen adopters. We strive to provide every dog with the safety, stability, and support they need to thrive in a forever home.
Our History and Purpose
Founded in September 2014, we have been serving Eastern Iowa by providing a second chance to dogs that might otherwise be forgotten. We primarily assist dogs from overcrowded shelters, as well as local strays and owner surrenders, ensuring they find the comfort they deserve.
A Foster-Based Commitment
We are a proud, foster-based rescue powered by compassionate volunteers who open their hearts and homes to dogs. By providing care in a home environment rather than a kennel, our foster families help dogs practice basic manners, socialization, and obedience, making their transition to your home as smooth as possible.

We believe in thoughtful, careful matching to ensure every dog finds a safe, lifelong home where they will never be homeless again. Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary attention, including vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, and microchipping, so you can focus on building a beautiful life together.
