Our Mission
Hamilton County Animal AdvoCATes is dedicated to helping cats, their caregivers, and our local community through compassionate programs that save lives. We believe in providing essential care and finding loving homes for those in need.
Our Story
Founded in 2017 to combat local cat overpopulation, we started as a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) organization. When we discovered that area shelters were too full to accommodate the kittens we rescued, we expanded our vision to provide direct care, eventually opening The Cat Hut in Webster City in 2022 to better serve our feline friends.
How We Help
We operate through three core programs: Trap-Neuter-Return for community and barn cats, our CatSNAP spay/neuter assistance for qualifying low-income residents, and the adoption of cats into forever homes. The Cat Hut serves as our central hub for daily care, where our dedicated team and volunteers provide a safe environment for cats awaiting their next chapter.
