Proud Animal Lovers Shelter
Our Mission
At Proud Animal Lovers Shelter (PALS), we are dedicated to providing a safe haven for animals in need and finding them the perfect, loving furever homes they deserve. We believe that every animal, regardless of breed, size, or temperament, deserves a second chance at happiness.
Our Story
Founded in January 2010 by a small group of passionate citizens, PALS has grown into a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization serving our community. As a state-licensed, no-kill shelter, we strive to fill a critical gap in animal welfare by providing professional care and compassion for animals awaiting their permanent families.
How We Operate
We are a community-supported organization, relying on the generosity of donors, grants, and our dedicated team. Our facility in Parsons, Kansas, is operated by a small but committed staff, including a full-time Shelter Manager, supported by a wonderful network of volunteers who ensure our residents receive the care they need while they wait for adoption.
The Joy of Adoption
Choosing to adopt means finding your new best friend while helping us continue our vital work. We take pride in the unique personalities of our residents, whether you are looking for a playful companion or a professional cuddler, and we are here to help you make a match that lasts a lifetime.
Find Your New Best Friend
We invite you to browse our current adoptable pets online or visit us at 24052 Meade Road to meet our residents in person. We cannot wait to help you find your new family member and start your next adventure together.
