Menifee County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Menifee County Animal Shelter is a dedicated, result-oriented team committed to helping animals find their forever families. We are passionate about making a difference and have successfully re-homed thousands of dogs and cats from our community and surrounding areas.
Our Purpose
Operating as a non-profit organization, our main responsibility is to assist our local community by providing a safe haven for stray animals. When space and opportunity allow, we also extend our support to pet owners who face the difficult decision of needing to re-home their animals. We are proud to serve as a resource for Menifee County, often facilitating community spay/neuter assistance and educational opportunities for local schools.
How We Care
Staffed primarily by volunteers, our shelter relies on the generosity of the community to provide for the animals in our care. We prioritize the well-being of our residents and are always looking for individuals who can help by volunteering their time, services, or providing necessary supplies like food, bedding, and cleaning items. Our foster network is vital to our success, and we invite compassionate individuals to reach out if they have space in their homes to help a pet in transition.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe every animal deserves a loving, stable home, and we take great care in matching each pet with the right adopter. Our process is transparent and thorough, involving an online application, a review of veterinary references, and an interview to ensure a happy, lasting partnership. Because many of our animals have experienced losses, we focus on understanding their individual personalities and needs to ensure they thrive in their new environment.
