Our Mission
Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue exists to provide refuge and compassionate care for animals in need while addressing pet overpopulation through education, advocacy, and community outreach. We are committed to supporting pets and empowering the people who love them.
Our Story
Since our inception in 2014, we have saved almost 4,000 homeless, abused, and neglected companion animals. We are a fully volunteer-driven organization dedicated to the companion animals of Oldham and surrounding counties.
How We Help
We rely on a network of nearly 200 dedicated volunteers to provide refuge and care. Rather than a traditional public-facing shelter, we utilize a network of temporary foster homes where animals receive socialization and love while waiting for their permanent families. This model allows us to learn each pet’s unique personality, ensuring we can provide the best possible care until they find their perfect match.
