Wild Cat Foundation
Our Mission
The Wild Cat Foundation is dedicated to making a positive difference in our community through compassionate animal welfare practices. We strive to address cat overpopulation through accessible spay and neuter services, ensuring a brighter future for the animals who share our homes and neighborhoods.
Our Story
Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, our organization was founded to tackle the critical issue of pet overpopulation head-on. By focusing on the No Kill Equation and community-wide solutions, we work to create a sustainable environment where every animal is treated with dignity and care.
How We Operate
Our work is rooted in transparency and community support, utilizing a range of initiatives like low-cost spay/neuter clinics and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs. While our organization focuses heavily on these vital services, we also facilitate the adoption of cats and dogs through our foster programs. By maintaining a clear distinction between feral cat support and domestic pet adoption, we ensure that every animal receives the specific care they need.
The Adopter Connection
Adopting a pet is a joyful, life-changing journey that brings a new member into your family. We believe in creating thoughtful, lasting matches that enrich the lives of both our animals and their new human companions. Our team is here to support you in finding a wonderful pet that fits perfectly into your home.
