Livingston Parish Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Livingston Parish Animal Shelter is dedicated to serving our community and its animals with integrity, professionalism, and commitment. We strive to provide a welcoming environment for every pet that comes through our doors as they await their forever homes.
Serving Our Parish
As a vital department of the Livingston Parish Government, we work to address the needs of our local animals and the citizens who care for them. Our operations are rooted in the same core values of honesty, trust, and respect that guide our parish leadership.
How We Operate
Our facility is located in Livingston and serves as a central hub for animal welfare in our area. Our dedicated staff manages daily operations with a focus on care and safety, ensuring that every animal in our custody is treated with dignity. We are proud to be a part of the local government infrastructure that supports the health and wellbeing of our parish.
Building Lifelong Bonds
Adoption is the beginning of a beautiful, lifelong partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect match for your family. By choosing to adopt, you are providing a second chance to a deserving animal while enriching your own life in the process. We believe that every adoption strengthens our community.
