The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC) is dedicated to providing high-standard care for the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in our community. We serve as a vital, open-admissions municipal shelter, working every day to make the world a more humane place for animals.

As the county’s only open-admissions shelter, we provide a safe haven for animals ranging from dogs and cats to farm animals and exotics. Our facility is designed with the well-being of our residents in mind, featuring eco-friendly systems, radiant floor heating for canine comfort, and access to exercise runs and walking trails to ensure every animal receives mental and physical enrichment.
