Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue
A Dedicated Haven for Pets
Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue is committed to providing a safe, compassionate environment for homeless cats and dogs as they await their forever families. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy, healthy life filled with love.
Our Mission and Community
As a private nonprofit organization located on Route 40 West in Ellicott City, we serve our community by bridging the gap between homeless animals and the families who need them. Through the generous support of our donors, grantors, and adopters, we maintain our 501(c)(3) status to ensure we can continue our vital work for years to come.
How We Care for Our Animals
We operate through a dedicated combination of on-site shelter care and a robust foster home network. While animals are with us, we provide necessary medical attention and a supportive environment, whether they are recovering from injury, needing socialization, or are nursing mothers and their litters. By opening their homes, our foster volunteers provide the essential daily care that helps our animals thrive before they find their permanent homes.
Building Lifelong Bonds
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we are here to help you find the perfect companion to complete your family. We focus on the health and safety of every animal, offering services like microchipping to give your new pet the best protection and the highest chance for a happy homecoming should they ever get lost.
