Animal Relief Fund
Our Mission
The Animal Relief Fund is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to providing rescue, care, and adoption services for abandoned animals in Southern Maryland. We strive to give every dog, cat, puppy, and kitten a second chance at a loving, forever home.
Serving Our Community
Founded by a group of passionate individuals in Southern Maryland, our goal is to address the local pet overpopulation crisis. Beyond rescue, we aim to support our community by providing vital information on low-cost spay and neuter programs, veterinary care, and essential pet training.
Our Care Model
We are not a traditional shelter; instead, we operate through a warm and supportive network of foster homes. This foster-based approach ensures that our animals receive personalized attention and care in a home environment while they wait to meet their perfect match. It is our promise to see that every animal is healthy, adopted, and cherished for life.
The Adopter Connection
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to finding the right fit for both your family and our rescues. We believe in transparency and thoughtful matching, taking the time to ensure every pet is ready for their new life. We encourage adopters to cherish their new companions as members of the family, ensuring they receive the love and medical care they deserve for their entire lives.
