Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland
A Sanctuary for Second Chances
The Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland is dedicated to the mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming senior dogs. We provide a safe haven for older pups who have lost their homes or face difficult circumstances, ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve.
Our Commitment to Seniors
Since 2016, our sanctuary has provided a loving home for over 900 dogs. We believe that age is just a number and that every senior dog deserves a second chance at unconditional love.
Life at Our Sanctuary
Our facility features a comfortable, home-like setting designed specifically for our seniors. With multiple outdoor play yards, a large pond, and plenty of space to relax, our residents thrive under the expert care of our dedicated staff and volunteers who work daily to restore their joy and health.
The Joy of Finding a Match
We pride ourselves on being matchmakers, working hard to ensure every dog is placed in a home perfectly suited to their unique temperament and needs. Because we want to ensure long-term happiness for both the pet and the family, our adoption process is thoughtful and thorough, guiding you every step of the way from your initial visit to the final, joyful homecoming.
